I really would like one year soon before it get too big to see what art is at the burning man festival other than pictures on the internet. I found it just surfing about art with used materials years ago. Or the grounds of sculpture in NJ at least....Maybe tomorrow I'll have some inspiration..wil be driving my daughter for a placement test at an art college in Philly.

Hi Deb
A grass lecture, heh? tee hee sounds pretty dull. Hey I can't wait to go through my storage room (spare bedroom  ) and pull out all my junk. I really want to make time to do some creative stuff. I think I have some good ideas but allowing myself time to work on them seems to be the problem. Not a high priority but it should be.
I can't wait to see some of your stuff. I would love to add your ideas to the garden decor area on BS. I'm sure some people would love to see some ideas.
Its too bad that GW has changed so much. :(
Now let's hear some of your ideas  I think I want more glass in my garden.

Yes, I will and you too. I did see the coolest..a very large almost wind chime type thing that was stung with eye glass lenses...no wire ear supposts just the glasses and frames, they have that litle hole. I'm so excited for my daughter...ate lunch with the students..I was wondering where all the males were.....duh! I didn't look for any thing today but bought a bamboo fence at good will last week and might make a roof as suggested and have been bringing plants home from work like nuts...red and yellow twig dogwoods, St John's wort, deutzia, shrubby stuff. Now to get out side and plant some Sedum autum joy. I'm getting a new door..bartered for some Heuchera Auntum Bride for a garden at another aboretum....I think I might do something with the old door. Could be..I'll have new neighbors next door soon....and I hope they don't bother me.

LOL....PS he taught me to bury crab shells..it's been about 10 years...go think.
