Greetings All,
Someone sent me some Bonsai plants on a trade. I have need of information on this subject, as I know nothing about it. Perhaps your personial experence, or a website link or book.
I only collect epiphytes, but am interested in this art form.
Send PM.
Thanks, Jack Lewis..........

Hi john,it is john right? I've been into bonsai for about 20 years but i am just getting back into it again after a bit of a gap. Do you plan on starting your own from scratch or buying established bonsai?(remember, there's no such thing as a finished bonsai!) I grow my own as i find it more rewarding but it does take time, years in fact and an important tool for the bonsai grower is patience. It can be 3-5 years before you see something that you can call bonsai but its a fun journey! I posted a thread on here called bonsai 101 which has some basic info for beginners.

Thanks Larry, I'll go back and try to find it. I would like to start at the beginning, just to get one allready started, no, I want to learn from the top. As for being slow to grow, there's not too much out there that grows slower than bromes.
Thanks Again..........
