I have had my European Map Buttefly pupae out and waiting and it seems the heat in my room is going to make them the summer form as the wing veins have started to appear on pupae. I will have pics soon.

Spring Form: http://www.geocities.com/EuropeanButterflies/Images/levana.JPG

These are not my pics. Sometimes there is a Autumn brood which is a cross of both spring and summer butterflies.

Documenting for my butterfly and moth website. Getting pics and videos. Should be more hatched later. Keep you posted.

Here is the front, hard to see becuase I had to use flash. These are such nice butterflies. The one with wings closed, you can see why they got the name "map" from the map like markings of the underside.

Bad news, I have 8 left still to hatch. One did not do so well and died:( but I was told how to look after them. Just need to find a lot of nettles for the caterpillars, that should be painful. I'll keep you posted.
