This is my Reese, a chocolate and tan Longhaired Dachshund. Spoiled does not even begin to describe her!!!

aw :heart: What a pretty little pooch. I was just looking at a couple chocolate Dachshund puppies tonight. I'm not ready for another dog, but they sure are cute dogs. Yours is so pretty.

:) OMG flowergirl, I thought my minny dacshound was the only one that gave that look with those eyes. That second picture looks like the looks I get when I am goin somewhere and can`t take her with me. Here`s my minny.1014 By the way your lil one is gorgeous!!

Sneezie, your minny is adorable, too. And yes, "the look" is enough to break your heart! Reese is the second longhair I've had. My first, Precious, got out one night as I was leaving and got run over. Broke my heart. Reese is nothing like Precious...her hair is curlier and she's much more protective of us. Precious thought that everyone that came to visit was here to see HER...Reese thinks everyone is going to hurt us! AND she doesn't know she's little!

here are pictures of some of my pets. I especially like the pic of the 3 in bed. My chocolate lab toby, our persian Karma and my youngest daughter. and they really sleep like that.

The doxie is Sammy, he just goosed karma, and came back with karma fur in his mouth. We dont have Sammy anymore, and we miss him. We all work or are in school and we just could not house break him. Dont you know the week before we gave him to a friend, he started to scratch at the door. It all worked out tho, he is in a home with stay at home mom and 9 yr old handicapped girl who says sammy is her brother.

Here are better pics of Toby. She is my buddy. And, she thinks she is a tiny lap dog. My hubby likes to spoil all of his "girls". Even the 4 legged ones.

Sneezie, we called ours Presh...I still miss her!

Paula, your girls are adorable and Sammy is so sweet...We had a chocolate lab named Tara. She also thought she was a little dog (actually, I'm not sure she didn't think she was human!) She tried to get in everyone's lap, too.

I also have a cat, Polly (so named because she liked to sit on my shoulder like a parrot when she was a kitten) She's got long smoky blue-grey hair that is beautiful but a pain to clean off my furniture!

They are all cute...I love the long haired dachschunds, just adorable! Too bad you couldn't keep him, but glad to hear it worked out so well!

Janet,
I wash her with baby shampoo, but I use the same serum on her as I do on my hair to make it shine. It will not hurt her, because I use such a small amount. I just spray some in my hands and rub her with it before I brush her. She has to be brushed more often because of her curly hair, but that helps it shine, too.
