this is pretty cool I know I am at the first with this one but here goes about mid october 2006 I got some eucalypt seeds and they were in red powder but what I am really thinking about doing is making one of my eucalypts since they are small groingand alot of them are the big ones are larger growing, so i ned to anylise what I can do I will turn this tubed eucalyptus plant into a bonsai pot and add not normal bonsai soil but red soil from my home from the ground where it can grow. I think I can dwarf this eucalypt plant into a old tree I ma going to try it out right now.....

you're not gonna like this but if you're gonna grow one from seed then forget the word Bonsai for many years.just treat it like an ordinary tree and grow it in the garden for 3-5 years. you'll never get a good Bonsai if its started in a pot, you'll just end up with a tree in a pot.and eucalyptus have funny leaves, the juvenile ones are perforated and keeping as a Bonsai would keep it growing young leaves.
