I have a water garden in my front yard and was wondering where can you buy aquatic seeds online. I have seen aquatic plants at my local improvement stores but they are so expensive and i would like to buy seeds that are aquatic instead like water lilys for example. If anyone knows any sites please let me know. Thanks

I will be dividing my waterlilies pretty soon, my pond is overgrown with them just about every year. In a couple of more weeks I'll be separating them and I'll be glad to send you a division or two. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Ebay has them. I got my lotus seeds from a pond in Ardmore OK. You're better off to buy plants at lowes. Seeds take forever.

They never have a big selection of aquatic plants at our Lowes here. And you would think they would considering how hot it is here in the summer. I have seen some in some catalogs I get in the mail but I wonder how they will turn out.

I've had some luck through ebay, got a nice marginal arrowhead for around $3.50 including shipping. This year I want to try a small flowering bog/marginal whose name escapes me at the moment.

You bought an arrowhead? LOL My goodness, those weeds grow in streams all over farms here in WV. I could have got you a thousand for nothing. I have a water hyacinth in the GH if it survived.

You can find it in the streams and creeks around here as well, my only problem is the places where I know it to be growing are protected lands and taking any brings a hefty fine.

Marvin on an internet search for Swamp Hibiscus I found you listed as having White Swamp Hibiscus to swap.

Can I have more information and preferably photos - email: waterlilyacres@bigpond.com

If you are still looking for aqautic plant seeds I may have something you like.
