I know what you mean about aggressive. I am not allowed to burn so I would cut it up in small pieces and put it in the garbage bag it eventually would rot.
It does have a great fragrance and it was a good living fence to keep the neighborhood kids off the property.
Do what you can where you are with what you have.

They are actually called rambling roses, or 7 sister roses. There are 7 or more blooms in a cluster, I have one thats red, and they can cover a 10 ft section of fence in one summer.

the ones i have grow good every where lol and its realy hardy but they do preffer full sun if it can get it lol I just trimed mine today i am going to throw the pieces and some seeds over my eroding baank hopefuly they will root

thats cool they are realy pretty with my minis i have prolly around two wild veriaties one of them is the old fashined cabage rose that smells like lemons I make rose cookies with them every year:) not to many people cook with roses anymore
