Aud ,do you have century plant, or rather do you want one? I brought a couple with me just in case you or Sneezie might want such. I brought the crinums as well as I think some prickly pear and another desert ouch plant. I''ll be doing drive by drops in PA in a few weeks if you are interested...

I don't think I've ever seen any local specimens approaching the much larger sizes of mature plants as they grow in warmer parts of the country, and wonder if they ever would with our short growing seasons and their habit of wilting badly in the colder months so the tops are nearly lying on the ground or being snapped off by cold etc? Anyway, my variety seems never to produce more than a couple of new sections or pads in an entire season, so mine never seems to get more than a half foot tall at most. Of course, add squirrel damage to that almost every summer!
