It took one tree down. At least I did not have to fight with a contractor. When nature took it down it did not hit the house. Imagine that. One of the trees they took down was beside this one and it hit the house.

My neighbor and his son came over and dug me out. I have a long driveway and my DB is stuck at his house. I moved so he is no longer in walking distance to my house.
The driveway and walkway is clean now.

I have to be able to get to my Mom so I do not like to be snowed in. I have an electric snow shovel that works great if we get our normal snow level. We usually only get 3 - 4" at a time then in a week or two we would get another 3-4. This was unusual.

Cooked my Mom's meals took them over to her. I stopped at the store and got my tea and ginger ale made one more stop for some wood for the fire. Everybody was without electricity but me, it might be my turn this time I want to be prepared. I am ready for whatever comes.
