PM Requirement Announcement

During the scheduled maintenance on the 22 of this month, the required amount of posts before users can pm will go down to 1.  I hope everyone realizes that this wasn't meant to be an inconvenience.  We're still in the process of trying to figure out the best methods to deal with spam.  We want to foster a friendly and safe place to swap and we believe the best way to achieve that is to have seed swappers become an active part of the Blossom Swap community.

The 22nd !! That's today......

No, it was actually last night, Gilli, into the wee hours of this morning.  I guess there are two threads on this, because we were discussing it in another thread.  Maintenance something-or-other.

You probably missed it because someone went off topic and it went rambling from there.  Was it Grindle?  Boo?  Certainly wasn't me. 

I started it. It was that bit about the shag carpet.  I am my own worst enemy..

 

I also misunderstood.  The forum upgrade hasn't happened. oops  Good thing I'm a moderator now and not an Admin.

Oh, that's funny!  Good think I didn't come in raving about the changes, just to be polite.

So I didn't miss it?? Phew!! And I thought I was losing my mind.

Oh no, you haven't been here nearly long enough to be as loopy as the rest of us.  Though I must admit, you're catching up pretty quickly. lol

Sure you have three posts now.  It's 3 forum posts before you can pm.  It's implemented because of spammers but since we're seed swappers we've requested it go down to one..which it will after the release next week.  Doesn't do you much good now, but apologize if things were confusing.  Your bulletin board in your profile is your own little shout box for people to leave quick hellos or whatever.  Posts aren't counted towards your forum posts.

 

Its about creating a safer seed swap by encouraging interacting with the community.

LOL just trying to find my way around, I love sites like this and this time of year my greenthumb works overtime, maybe its what we up north call cabin fever!  I can't wait to get my hands in the dirt.  Thanks for your help, just want to be able to pm with trades!
