OH Cool! I love David Austin Roses. I don't have any in my garden. I know they are supposed to be hardy. I think I need one boo, because the Japanese beetles don't want to go hungry.
I'm so excited that it is summer, I wet my plants.

Oh yeah! I have always loved the pictures of David Austins roses but have never seen one 'in person'. I would love to have one or two......especially as I've heard some smell so good. I would like to use them in a garden I am planning for the 5 senses.

I love roses too and there will be a big bare spot in the flowerbeds next spring after I cut a small Douglas fir that's growing too close to my fence. It'll make a good Christmas tree this year and won't go to waste.

I think a pretty David Austin Rose planted in my yard in honor of Erdine would be a nice thing to do.Then I can share the beautiful rose's with her and my friend's here in Dec.When most are gone till Spring. And did I say I LOVE ROSE'S........keeping my finger's crossed. And saying a prayer too......

I love all roses, because they all have something different to offer. Some have small blooms, but
plenty of them, some offer vibrant colours, or interesting patterns. They are often generous
with repeat flowering. It's hard to choose one particular type over another, but the David
Austins have something special in their rich "olden days" blossoms, often full of fragrance.
Who wouldn't want to add these beautiful colourful roses to their garden?

They would be great replacements for my Roses that didn't survive last winter.

i am admitting that the thorns are a turn off but i am turning over a new leaf, so to speak, expanding past my area of comfort in many ways and i think getting a rose would be a great place to start.

I would love to have roses growing in my yard again. I lost my Weeping China Dolls, and my Blaze Roses after having them for years and years. They were huge and along my walk and fence. 3 years ago they were just a pile of brown broken sticks, when they should have begun to come back to life!! Have no idea what happened. Dh claims he doesn`t have any idea either, so that lets any foul play out!! hahahaha. I promise I`d take very good care of them.

My garden needs some roses and I'm like Grindle, David Austin's make me think of Erdine. I just couldn't plant the daffs this year, it was just to sad for me to even think about at the time. But if I win the roses I'd gladly plant them and enjoy having the roses that I've only enjoyed before from Erdine's and other people's photos. Connie
