I can't remember a time that I did not have lamb's ear in my garden. My Mom had it and I loved it even as a child. It is a really good plant for helping introduce small children to...
I love this plant, I love the color of the leaves and the white flowers. Easily grown from seed and comes true to the parent. In my garden it does not selfsow. About 2 1/2 ft tall in full sun it...
Anyone catch it last night after Idol? I thought it was pretty good.

Ok, so I'm a little late in replying. I missed it first time around, but the pilot is on again tonight at 9 (Eastern). You might want to watch it again, Boo, it's supposed to have extra footage. I just saw the preview for it. It looks good!

I can't believe you said that, because it's something I keep threatening to do when my teens misbehave. I tell them next time we're shopping, I'll suddenly burst into song. Let me know how it goes.
I like musicals too, I've been to quite a few of them in live theatre. There's nothing like it.

Sounds like someone is skinning the cat.
Glees were actually songs that were sung in harmony. I think glees go as far back as the 1700's if I'm not mistaken. I grew up singing harmony (yes, yes, I started in a choir). That's why I like the show so much, they sing in harmonies. I also like that the guy's voice is calmer and softer and hers so powerful. They go so well together.
Here's the bit they did at the end, Don't Stop Believin':
Listen to the harmony! ___ ___
It gives me goose bumps. Well in our glee club we can post in harmony but it might get a little confusing.
ha ha Blue, look at this one.

He's got range! My brother and I used to harmonize when he lived with me, but I never sang with myself. lol
It's not just the singing and performing I like on the show, it's also smartly written and funny to boot. I think the acting is good too. I've always liked Jane Lynch and the material they're giving her is good stuff.
I like Jayma Mays..well, actually I think all the characters were well chosen. Even the wife of Will is funny as hell. "I have to work 4 hours on my feet.."Yes, great writing. I hope they can keep it up because it looks good.
Its so refreshing to see a quality show rather than another reality show.

Yes, they really are all good. Mercedes has a fabulous voice, I've seen her before, but they haven't shown her full range yet. I hope they showcase her more in following episodes.
I loved the "4 hours a day, 3 times a week" too. "And then have to come home and cook my own dinner." The actress is Canadian, close to the town I grew up in. Corey (Finn) is Canadian too.
I like Kurt too. Apparently they liked the actor so much, they wrote in a new character for him when they saw him.
I just hope the good writing keeps up and they don't end up getting all soapy. Don't want another GW on our hands.

lol Right, it's not a musical, so that's why it has a broader audience (and I don't mean my and Boo's backsides). It has musical pieces in it, when they're actually performing, but they don't burst into song in the middle of conversation.
Aud, you will like it and you will report in here on the night it is on.
Did I sound authoritative enough? Maybe I should have typed it in bold caps? I just want her to join us. I've graduated from bitch 101 and wanted to practice my skills.
Blue Marie Belle! What are ya talking about my backside fer?

Did you get to watch it Sash? We're waiting for your report.
Yesterday's episode had a Twitter thing going at the same time, that they showed on the screen. A little distracting but they said if they'll only do have them on episodes that are reruns.
My favourite quote of the episode. Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch): "Your resentment... is delicious." The way she delivers the line is priceless.

lol I can't wait until they perform more songs together. I heard there are some good ones coming up. This week's episode seemed to be building up the characters more than focussing on the music.
