The Mourning Doves Are Back!

I always start feeling summery when the mourning doves show up in my yard, as they faithfully do at this time of year as soon as I put the feeders out.

Thanks, Connie.

Sash, he/she's actually eating. The seed I put out is so supreme that the bird is in ecstacy eating it.

No, because then I'd have to fill the feeder much sooner and a lot more often.

Digi, I love their cooing sounds too.

Nice Pics TFS

They will show up here later but the closest they come is on the edge of the front flower bed. Usually they just walk up and down the road. Never have understood why they don't eat the food my neighbor and I put out unless we throw it out on the road.

Who plants a seed beneath the sod and waits to see believes in God.
