Only because I'm bored.
How many of you have bouquets of flowers cut from your OWN gardens in your house right now and what flowers are in them?
Me first - I have 3 bouquets (in kitchen, living room and bathroom) and they all have lovely purple campanulas in them with a little bit of laurel for greenery.

Wellll. In the spring it's l.o.v. and violets, and maybe some hyacinth. Whatever gets beaten by heavy wind or rain: peonies (really have to watch for ants, tho'); daffs, then lilacs. Balloon flowers that flop; mock orange; a bleeding heart sprig. In the summer I have mostly foliage plants or stuff that doesn't last well in the house, so I just enjoy them out there or through the windows.

right now I have a bouquet of oriental poppies, love them in the house. my tree peonies are now done, but I had the blooms in big crystal bowls in the living room and on the table, the smell was incredible.
all summer long, I put in all sorts of stuff, sweet peas, glads, anything I can get my hands on.

The only thing I've put in a vase so far this year were lilacs.

Sneezie, what's a china doll? Annual or perennial? Tree/shrub/plant? Got pix? Now I suppose I'll want that too.
